What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations may be made up to two days prior to arrival; after that, the deposit is forfeited. Seasonal and rate-specific exceptions may apply. Early departures are subject to a fee of one room night plus tax.
When can I check in?
Check-in opens at 4:00 PM. Early arrival is obtainable based on availability; guaranteed early arrival is available for an additional fee, dependent on date and room type.
What will I need at check-in?
The credit card used to make the reservation and valid government-issued photo identification are both required at check-in. Guests must be 18 years or older to book a room and stay.
Is there a hold for incidentals?
Yes. To cover incidentals, a hold of $250 per night is placed on the guest's credit card at check-in.
When is check-out?
Check-out is by 12:00 noon. Late departure is obtainable based on availability; guaranteed late departure is available for an additional fee, dependent on date and room type.
Are pets welcome?
The house keeps a strict no-pets policy. Only service animals trained to assist guests with disabilities are permitted on the premises; owners are asked to adhere to all applicable laws and to ensure their animals do not disturb other guests.
Is smoking permitted?
The Moore is a non-smoking property throughout. Any room that has been used for smoking is subject to an additional smoking fee.
How do I get to the house from the airport?
The Moore stands at 4040 NE 2nd Avenue in the Miami Design District. From Miami International (MIA), the drive takes 25–35 minutes via I-95 S; a taxi runs $35–50 depending on traffic. From Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood (FLL), allow 45–60 minutes, or $70–95 by taxi. Rideshare is straightforward — enter "The Moore Miami" — and valet parking is available at the hotel.
Can I arrive by public transit?
Yes. The closest Metromover station is at the Adrienne Arsht Center, about a fifteen-minute walk or a short rideshare away, and Metrobus routes 3 and 93 stop along NE 2nd Avenue at NE 40th Street, two minutes from the door.
Is the neighborhood walkable?
Nearly everything worth seeing — galleries, restaurants, shops — is within a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk of the house, on pedestrian-friendly streets with wide sidewalks. More than 130 galleries sit within a few blocks, and the house keeps its own map of the district on the Discover page.
